At the start of her career, the artist incorporated Siberian motifs into her paintings, and over time she began drawing inspiration from Turkish culture. Katerina's works often feature elements of Istanbul, nature, flowers, female figures, and whirling dervishes, conveyed through the use of oil and acrylic paints.
