The Boucle rug is a flat weave made on a hand loom. It is a loose flat weave which allows the softness of the wool to love your feet. In this style of flat-weave, the wool weft accounts for 90% of the total weight of the rug - cushy!  

BOUCLE is a Kilim rug. Kilim is the name for a thin, flat, tapestry-woven, graphic style rug. It is made by weaving the horizontal yarn (weft) through vertical yarn (warp). The rug is woven so tightly that the warp is barely visible. This makes for a very durable rug, that can handle weight and movement.
